Start with a real problem

Why we started Sidekick
We saw the gap up close. So we started a company to do the engineering that closes it.
Sidekick Machines Built in the enterprise trenches.
Our starting point
A model can be remarkably capable. Putting it to work inside a business still means dealing with identity, approvals, messy integrations, context, cost and operational responsibility.
We spent months researching the technology and working through those problems. We built reusable engineering to address them, and a way to bring every piece together.
Now you can engage that expertise where you need it: one capability, a focused solution or a complete digital AI co-worker.
And we stay after launch. We run what we build, so we build it to last. See agent operations
How we work
Define the job and what a useful result looks like with the people who will rely on it.
Use our reusable foundations and integrate the products that fit your environment.
Agree scope, evidence, ownership and ongoing operation as part of the work.
Most agent projects need a dozen specialists. Hari and Sai cover architecture, security, data, integrations, evals and operations between them.
Founder & CTO
I’ve spent 15 years in the enterprise technology trenches and three years deep in agentic AI research. I’ve watched generative AI go from party tricks to digital AI co-workers, and built those digital AI co-workers myself. I started Sidekick Machines because good technology should unlock business potential and give people room to do their best work. Offline, I’m outside: Canadian winter is my favourite season, and mountain trails are my reset button.
Co-Founder & Head of Engineering
I run AI engineering at Sidekick Machines, which mostly means asking “what happens when this breaks at 2 a.m.?” before anyone else does. 15 years in technology, the last two following AI agents up close, and a firm belief that dependable beats flashy.
