For investors
Agents impress in a demo. Then they stall. We get them working.
Sidekick Machines is an AI agent engineering company in Calgary. Our engineers work inside client environments and get stalled agents into production, one capability at a time. Agents we build work on their own and ask people for decisions.
Two ways to work with us
Talk to us about Sidekick, or about your portfolio.
Bring us to your portfolio
Introduce us to a portfolio company whose agents stall after a demo. We work with its team and put those agents to work. Start with one capability, a focused solution or a complete digital AI co-worker.

Hari Lakku
Founder & CTO
I’ve spent 15 years in the enterprise technology trenches and three years deep in agentic AI research. I’ve watched generative AI go from party tricks to digital AI co-workers, and built those digital AI co-workers myself. I started Sidekick Machines because good technology should unlock business potential and give people room to do their best work. Offline, I’m outside: Canadian winter is my favourite season, and mountain trails are my reset button.

Sai Gandhi
Co-Founder & Head of Engineering
I run AI engineering at Sidekick Machines, which mostly means asking “what happens when this breaks at 2 a.m.?” before anyone else does. 15 years in technology, the last two following AI agents up close, and a firm belief that dependable beats flashy.
